Water is one of the world's most vital resources. Water is also the prime source of heat energy at AquaCity, it's at the very heart of the resort and the centre of the resort's fun and relaxation.
AQUACITY'S ENERGY SOURCE
At AquaCity the water is drawn from natural geothermal subterranean lakes and piped to AquaCity at around 49 degrees C. The heat is then extracted from the water, via vast heat exchangers, and used for the hotels and resort buildings. Water used for the pools then undergoes stringent sanitisation, using the same natural U/V filtration system that's used for drinking water.
WATER THAT'S KIND TO THE SKIN
To ensure our water remains kind to the skin, eyes and the environment n harsh chemicals are used during the sanitisation of water used either in the pools or in the bathrooms and showers. And to minimise the amount of chemicals needed for the pools, they are lined with stainless steel, rather than concrete, reducing the need for chlorinisation by around 90%.
