Adjacent to the outdoor pools is the mighty Mayan Pyramid, a 20m high pyramid of watery fun, purpose built for kids of all ages and open from June to September.
Surrounded by warm water, no more than 1 metre deep, the pools include water fountains, showers and wave making, while rising up from the centre, is the heart of the action, the pyramid itself.
Once up there, there are plenty of ways back down, from splashing down the gently undulating family slide, taking the faster and steeper `kamikaze slides' or twisting and turning down the `wild river ride' on your own inflatable raft, through a 70m descent.
